Dr. Charles Krauthammer on Obama Agenda
Dr. Krauthammer was on Fox News. He is an M.D., psychiatrist and a lawyer and is paralyzed from the neck down. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in a closed room. What he says here, is not second-hand but first. The ramifications are staggering for us, our children and their children.
Last Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speaks to the Center for the American Experiment. He is brilliant intellectual, seasoned and articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and
never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a fiscal conservative, and has received a Pulitzer Prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have summarized his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally. Even two Democrats at my table agreed with everything he said! If you feel like forwarding this to those who are open minded and have not drunk the Kool-Aid, feel free.
Summary of his comments:
(1) Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a cool customer who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's behind the mask. The taking down of the Clinton dynasty by a political neophyte was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.
(2) Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!
(3) Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can't be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada.
(4) Obama's three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada . God forbid!
(5) Obama has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.
(6) Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the United States , but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America , as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors
This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!
(7) Obama is now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not come due until after he is reelected in 2012. He would like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has
a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.
(8) Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. Republicans are pining for another Reagan, but there will never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she is to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and state's rights.
(9) The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don't have. This could lead to hyperinflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn't work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.
(10) The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the
mantra of change caused people to act emotionally. Any democrat would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was.
(11) . In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it will be a dogfight. It will all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There is a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we're right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.
Do yourself a long term favor, send this to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture. All our futures and children's futures depend on our good understanding of what is really going on in DC, and our action pursuant to that understanding!! It really IS up to each of us to take individual action!! Start with educating your friends and neighbors!!!
Obama's Brick Wall: the American People
| ||
President Barack Obama has run into a brick wall: the American people, who cherish their liberty and revere their nation and do not want it remade in Obama's socialist image. Obama's free-falling poll numbers are not the result of a misinformation campaign from a small sliver of unruly conservative opponents, as the administration wants you to believe. They are a reflection of the public's reaction to Obama's policies and his own comprehensive misinformation campaign to dupe the people into believing America is unsalvageable without fundamental change. When Obama promised to bring fundamental change to America, most Americans, fortunately for him, did not take him literally. He offered them "hope" at a time when the economy was going south; political partisanship had reached new levels of acrimony, and people were weary of a protracted, albeit successful, war in Iraq. But most voters had no idea just how much change Obama had in mind. But Obama was dead serious. If it wasn't obvious to trusting people then, it is abundantly so now. He doesn't share the majority's vision of America as the most wonderful experiment in constitutional governance in history. He sees it as a land of plenty, all right — plenteous inequities, with maldistribution of resources, oppression and imperialism. Surely people can now see that it is no accident that he sat at the feet of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, that his mother was a leftist activist and cultural Marxist, that his main early mentor was radical Frank Marshall Davis, that he was a member of the far-left New Party in Chicago, that his main vocation in life has been street organizing and agitation and that he didn't think the revolutionarily, transformative Warren court was liberal enough. Since assuming office, Obama has been on a mission to fundamentally alter the social compact between the government and a once powerfully sovereign people. The litany of his shocks to the system is too voluminous to detail in full, but just consider his calculated takeover of GM, his fraudulently marketed trillion-dollar spending schemes, his cap-and-trade boondoggle, his unilateral declaration of an end to the war on terror, his policy to Mirandize terrorists on the battlefield, his cavorting with terrorist dictators, his soft betrayal of Israel, his ceaseless foreign-soil apologies for America, and his crusade to subsume the healthcare industry. These are not tweaks to a glorious constitutional republic, but a frantic effort to undo this republic brick by brick. And the American people have finally gotten wise to what's going on and are mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore. But probably not used to running into much adversity in his adult life, Obama's doubtlessly been thrown for a major psychological loop as he's run into the fierce grass-roots resistance to his radical agenda. Based on what we can glean from his background, we have to assume he remains in that policy cocoon in which he has been surrounded mostly by radicals who see America through different lenses than most Americans do. He truly believes that America has to change in dramatic ways and that he is the only guy who can make it happen, i.e., "The One." What, then, is a conflicted messiah to do when he's caught in an inner struggle between his narcissism and his uncompromising ideology and must choose either his desire for personal popularity or his driving compulsion to change this nation into a full-blown socialist state? Given the enormity of his ego, I'm betting he still thinks he can thread the needle by delivering a command-control economy to a people too ignorant to realize it's not in their best interests and still retain their adulation. He must, because government-run healthcare is his proverbial hill to die on. So in the coming days, look for an acceleration of his propaganda campaign to deceive Americans into believing his socialized health plan actually would increase free market choices, that its inevitable rationing and reduced quality of care would actually be increased access for everyone, that the government really wouldn't control the doctor-patient relationship when blueprints for such controls are already in and integral to the proposed legislation, that the plan would provide free healthcare for everyone at less cost, and that end-of-life counseling instituted by the government under the plan would be purely driven by empathy and compassion rather than a stark, chilling effort to persuade seniors to do their part to unburden the system. The faux messiah faces the test of his life. Saul Alinsky, the godfather of street organizing, will be watching from the grave to see whether his best student can finally consummate the Marxists' generations-long boast of conquering this nation without having to fire a shot

Leading Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama continued his defense of his controversial longtime pastor and friend Reverend Jeremiah Wright in a chat-fest with the ladies of The View Friday. Obama said he rejects anti-American and racist comments Wright has said in sermons, but believes Wright is misunderstood. Obama described Wright as “a brilliant man who was still stuck in a time warp” and that he was “one of the best pastors” in Chicago on ABC’s daytime talk show. ![]() US Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) delivers a speech on the economy at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York, March 27, 2008. Obama has said he was unaware Wright had said “goddamn America,” blamed the government for infecting the black population with AIDS or made other controversial statements in his sermons in a highly billed speech on race and religion and in other appearances. Obama said Friday it was important to take Wright’s remarks “in context” and that those remarks only reflected “a snippet of a man.” “I'm not vetting my pastor,” Obama explained. “I didn't have a research team during the course of 20 years to go pull every sermon he's given and see if there's something offensive that he's said.” He also said he has spoken with Wright recently and feels “he’s [Wright] saddened by what happened.” “I told him I feel badly he has been characterized in this one way and people haven’t seen the other aspects of him,” Obama said. Earlier this week in Greensboro, North Carolina Obama blamed media for promoting the story. Obama said: “This is somebody who was preaching three sermons at least a week for 30 years. And got boiled down in the -- they found five or six of his most offensive statements, boiled that down into a half an hour sound clip -- or half minute sound clip and just played it over and over again. >>>>> Some dummies never learn that they may look stupid until they open their mouth and prove IT <<<<<<<< |
"The anger is real. It is powerful, and to simply wish it away, to condemn it without understanding its roots, only serves to widen the chasm of misunderstanding that exists between the races." - Barack Obama
Back in the late 1980s I was on a plane flying out of New Orleans and sitting next to me was a rather interesting and, according to Barack Obama, unusual black man. Friendly, gregarious, and wise beyond his years, we immediately hit it off. I had been working on Vietnamese commercial fishing boats for a few years based in southern Louisiana. The boats were owned by the recent wave of Vietnamese refugees who flooded into the familiar tropical environment after the war. Floating in calm seas out in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, I would hear tearful songs and tales from ex-paratroopers about losing brothers, sisters, parents, children, lovers, and beautiful Vietnam itself to the communists.
In Bayou country I lived on boats and in doublewide trailers, and like the rest of the Vietnamese refugees, I shopped at Wal-Mart and ate a lot of rice. When they arrived in Louisiana the refugees had no money (the money that they had was used to bribe their way out of Vietnam and into refugee camps in Thailand), few friends, and a mostly unfriendly and suspicious local population.
"We're owed and they aren't."
In short, he concluded, "they're hungry and we think we're owed. It's crushing us, and as long as we think we're owed we're going nowhere."
The mindset that one is "owed" something in life has not only affected black mobility in business but black mobility in education as well. Remember Ward Churchill? About fifteen years ago he was my boss. After leaving the fishing boats, I attended graduate school at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I managed to get a job on campus teaching expository writing to minority students who had been accepted provisionally into the university on an affirmative action program. And although I never met him, Ward Churchill, in addition to teaching in the ethnic studies department, helped to develop and organize the minority writing program.
The job paid most of my bills, but what I witnessed there was absolutely horrifying. The students were encouraged to write essays attacking the white establishment from every conceivable angle and in addition to defend affirmative action and other government programs. Of the hundreds of papers that I read, there was not one original contribution to the problem of black mobility that strayed from the party line.
The irony of it all however is that the "white establishment" managed to get them into the college and pay their entire tuition. Instead of being encouraged to study international affairs, classical or modern languages, philosophy or art, most of these students became ethnic studies or sociology majors because it allowed them to remain in disciplines whose orientation justified their existence at the university. In short, it became a vicious cycle.
There was a student there I'll never forget. He was plucked out of the projects in Denver and given a free ride to the university. One day in my office he told me that his mother had said the following to him: "M.J., they owe you this. White people at that university owe you this." M.J.'s experience at the university was a glorious fulfillment of his mother's angst.
There were black student organizations and other clubs that "facilitated" the minority student's experience on the majority white and "racist" campus, in addition to a plethora of faculty members, both white and black, who encouraged the same animus toward the white establishment. While adding to their own bona fides as part of the trendy Left, these "facilitators" supplied M.J. with everything he needed to quench his and his mother's anger, but nothing in the way of advice about how to succeed in college. No one, in short, had told M.J. that he needed to study. But since he was "owed" everything, why put out any effort on his own?
In a fit of despair after failing most of his classes, M.J. wandered into my office one Friday afternoon in the middle of the semester and asked if I could help him out. I asked M.J. about his plans that evening, and he told me that he usually attended parties on Friday and Saturday nights. I told him that if he agreed to meet me in front of the university library at 6:00pm I would buy him dinner. At 6pm M.J. showed up, and for the next twenty minutes we wandered silently through the stacks, lounges, and study areas of the library. When we arrived back at the entrance I asked M.J. if he noticed anything interesting. As we headed up the hill to a popular burger joint, M.J. turned to me and said:
"They were all Asian. Everyone in there was Asian, and it was Friday night."
Nothing I could do, say, or show him, however, could match the fire power of his support system favoring anger. I was sad to hear of M.J. dropping out of school the following semester.
This whole process took only a few years.
Eric Hoffer said:
We now know that Barack Obama really has no interest in the "audacity of hope." With his race speech, Obama became a peddler of angst, resentment and despair. Too bad he doesn't direct that angst at the liberal establishment that has sold black people a bill of goods since the 1960s. What Obama seems angry about is America itself and what it stands for; the same America that has provided fabulous opportunities for what my black friend called "hungry" minorities. Strong families, self-reliance, and a spirit of entrepreneurship should be held up as ideals for all races to emulate.
In the end, we should be very suspicious about Obama's anger and the recent frothings of his close friend Reverend Wright. Says Eric Hoffer:

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright is not someone who should be advising a presidential candidate. But Sen. Barack Obama did an admirable thing in not disavowing his friend and mentor for the sake of a political win. Obama talked about his American story and about the black experience in America. However, in a speech about race in this country, he failed to address a key issue facing Americans today: family breakdown. He missed the opportunity to talk about sons, fathers and father figures. He didn't have the audacity to challenge our culture on the most fundamental level, and to serve as an inspiration and a catalyst for change. Obama's speech was in defense of a man he has known for two decades, a man he has made a part of his wife and children's lives, and a man he has made a part of his campaign. Wright is also a man who has said some pretty despicable things about America and about public servants. Obama explained that a YouTube video or two from an inflammatory sermon is not the measure of the man. He talked about Wright's military service and ministry to the poor and sick. But Obama's story was incomplete. Nothing he said excuses the lack of judgment that is inherent in a man choosing to expose his children to angry, anti-American tirades and off-color rants. Had he gone one step further, however, he might have had me. He should have told us why Wright was an important man in his life -- because he was the father figure Obama needed as a young man, and that is why he loves him above all else. ![]() US Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) (L) and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson address a campaign rally in Portland, Oregon, March 21, 2008. Richardson endorsed Obama's bid for the Democratic nomination for U.S. president on Friday, in a big boost for the senator. REUTERS/Richard Clement (UNITED STATES) US PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN 2008 (USA) Obama told us that he is "the son of a black man from Kenya and a white woman from Kansas." He didn't go any further talking about his father. Instead, he threw his maternal grandmother under the media bus, saying that she had "once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and ... has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe." He left me asking, "But what about the father? Why didn't he talk about his father's abandonment of him and his family, and how that made his later relationship with Wright all the more important in his life?" That, I suspect, is why Obama will never repudiate Wright. The fact is, Obama grew up without a father. And, I assume, Wright for him was a father figure. That may be how Wright got to be such an influence in his life. This would not have answered all concerns about Wright and Obama, but it would have presented a more compelling narrative and, more importantly, he could have delivered an important cultural message about the impact the absence of male role models has on a child. Obama has it in him to do as much. I know this because I have read it. In his own best seller, "The Audacity of Hope," he wrote that in black America, "the nuclear family is on the verge of collapse." He felt it worth pointing out that "54 percent of all African-American children live in single-parent households, compared to about 23 percent of all white children." Writing about his own struggles as a dad with a busy schedule, he remembers how he grew up without a father, and with "partial, incomplete" relationships with a grandfather and stepfather: "As I got older I came to recognize how hard it had been for my mother and grandmother to raise us without a strong male presence in the house. I felt as well the mark that a father's absence can leave on a child. I determined that my father's irresponsibility toward his children, my stepfather's remoteness and my grandfather's failures would all become object lessons for me, and that my own children would have a father they could count on." My problem with Obama's speech is that he didn't go far enough. He could make history in some pretty dramatic, culture-shaking and culture-rebuilding ways. He grew up without a father and had some tough struggles, but he overcame and achieved. He could truly inspire. Obama and I will never agree, even on the marriage and family issues. He's radically pro-choice, and he wouldn't protect traditional marriage in the face of faux marriage in the courts and legislatures. But he could be an important voice for men and for families; he could find some common ground with social conservatives who fight for the same. And that would be something audaciously hopeful. |

Odumba( obama) is an out and out RACIST , ,you only have to look at who he ran with before getting into politics a bunch of "Black Power" commies wanting to destroy AMERICA by spliting the races and seperating the rich from the poor , the educated from the uneducated , after all he had been to collage ( using a place saved for a BLACK) he did not have to make grades , he got a pass just for being himself, look at his friends , his church , the Black Panthers , and all other terrorist commie outfits, he takes his wife and childern to his BLACK POWER COMMIE CHURCH, he believes in reperations for being a slave ( his father was never a slave , or any other of his family , his mother is WHITE , his father is from Kyena, but he can't pass for white so he has to make himself BLACKER, to play the RACE GAME to make it in politics, and now we find out most BLACK CHURCH'S are preaching HATE behind the doors of the of their church's out of sight of the WHITE people they HATE , after all everything they have was given to them by the WHITE MAN ,,, BUT they want it all!!!!
As a very young boy my grandmother use to tell me and my brother , we would be judged by who our friends were, the kids we ran around with would make people believe we were the same as them , she would always say "birds of a feather ,flock together",, and thats true , the reason my father let me join the NAVY when I was only 15 ,, 3 months short of 16 , was because I had fallen in with some rough kids , my dad was good friends with a capitan on the police force and the two of them got me into the NAVY , where I was turned around and the NAVY made me a man who could stand tall and look people in the eye , I learned to fly and how to become a leader ,, enough on my life I just got off track thinking about odumba and the birds of a feather got me into all that ,,
The press needs to look deeper into obamas past life , start turning over some rocks and follow the trail of slime to all of his black power commie friends !!!!!!
